In this workshop, students will create a portrait painting of themselves with their mother and/or family.  Students are required to bring a photograph at least 5 x 7 for reference and are encouraged to bring other reference materials, including other photographs, favorite stuffed animals and any other sources of inspiration.  In addition to learning to achieve likeness, students will also consider color, value, draftsmanship in their execution of this portrait.  And on top of it all, the work will be a fantastic new mantle piece!
