Taste the Nations Cooking Club

This 4 to 8 week cooking club will cover a different country each week.  Traditionally, the first week, we focus on Italy with a pasta dish.  The second, we use France for inspiration with a rich recipe.  The third week we travel to China to explore Chinese cooking.  Finally, we move to India create a unique and flavorful dish of the region. This club can be customized both in content and length, so if the class extends to 5, 6, 7, or 8 weeks, more cultures will be added so the children cook from a new origin each week.  We are able to cover any region/country and create a time period that works for any environment!  Children will learn about the process of cooking and baking from scratch, as well as nutrition and cleanup.  Each class will begin in circle time with a song and a book that will reveal interesting facts about the country we’re cooking from and enhance the kitchen experience.  Music from the country of origin will play as the children delve into the cooking process.  The little chefs will try new and interesting foods and have the opportunity to share their creations with family and friends.
