Studio Photography Workshop
(10 to 14 years)
Teacher: Lauren Boyle
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about and work with digital point and shoot cameras as well as a more complex digital SLR camera. In addition, the kids will learn how to create a studio by setting up a backdrop, professional lights and reflectors. Then, using what they’ve learned about the cameras, lighting and composition, participants will take photographs, including self-portraits. After the photo session, the photographers will transfer their photos to a computer and learn several basic concepts of Adobe Photoshop to create a Pop Art version of their self-portrait. The creation will be printed on photo paper and matted to take home and enjoy!
In addition, participates will receive a complete collection of their photographs on a CD.
