Madia Levin

Madia Levin was born in Pretoria, South Africa. Growing up, she always had a passion for working with small children, and as a young adult, Madia’s mother started Waterkloof Nursery School. She began working there as a teacher’s aide and continued throughout her university years.

Madia obtained her Master of Commerce at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and her Doctorate in Organizational Behavior at the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2009. She worked as a consultant for a global firm advising local and international clients across a spectrum of business domains on various human resources issues. She also has consulted internationally as an Organizational Psychologist and International Psychologist and has presented research at various conferences. Her work can be read in several publications. In addition, Madia is an adjunct professor at Walden University in the doctoral psychology program. Throughout her studies and career, Madia has cultivated an extensive background in teaching and working with various age groups, from young children to adult learners! 

Madia moved with her family to Texas in 2011. She has two children, a daughter in middle school and a son in elementary school in Lake Travis Independent School District. Madia has volunteered with the LTISD since 2011 in various roles and has served as a Girl Scout Troop Leader for the Lake Hills Service Unit since 2012. She has also been working at a Lake Travis preschool over the past year as a teaching assistant substitute.

When at home Madia loves to read, loves coffee and is kept very busy with the family’s golden retriever, dachshund and a hedgehog named Tyrion. She also enjoys experiencing life with her children as they learn and grow. Now, she is excited to contribute to the lives of the children she will teach at Lupine Lane!
