Monica Quiroz

Monica is a graduate form “Le Cordon Bleu” Culinary Arts in Austin, Texas and has worked for numerous years in Mexico City as a sous chef and food stylist under world class chefs.

She studied nutrition and event planning at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and worked as a managing partner at Les Cretifs, an event planning organization in Mexico City.

Monica has an abundance of experience in teaching children about food and cooking.  She recognizes the importance of teaching children about the culture from which the food comes as well as nutrition.  She places an emphasis on healthy recipes using whole foods.

On her own time, Monica loves reading about nutrition and cooking and trains to keep up to date on organic cooking methods and ingredients.
