Sensational Explorations

Optical illusions, symphonic melodies, delectable flavors, herbal bouquets, and soft, squishy mixtures all delight the senses and intrigue people, especially children. This week will be an exploration of sensory activities. The kids will experience the thrill of optical illusions, color tricks and be captivated by what the eyes view. They will take in wonderful aromas and contemplate how smells can make one feel calm, awake, happy. Kids will work with and experience sound and discover the marvels the world offers to our ears. We will journey through various textures and tactile activities and taste new flavors through preparing lunch and other healthy treats. Children will experience the wonder and enjoyment that each of the five senses provide.
