My name is Sara Iverson, and I am an Assistant Teacher at Lupine Lane. I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, before moving to Austin. I am currently working toward earning my degree in Early Childhood Education.
I have always enjoyed working with children and helping create a safe, caring, and welcoming environment where they can learn and grow. My experience working with children has given me a passion for supporting their development and being a positive part of their early years. I especially enjoy getting to know each child’s personality and interests and helping them feel confident, comfortable, and valued in the classroom.
I am excited to continue growing as an educator and to learn alongside the children and families at Lupine Lane.

Favorite Book as a Young Child
My favorite book when I was in preschool was The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This is a book I grew up with, and my mom would read it to me every night before bed. It became a special part of my childhood and is a book that I still remember fondly today. I loved the colorful illustrations and watching the caterpillar’s journey as he grew and eventually turned into a butterfly. Because of the memories I have of reading it with my mom, it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Favorite Part of the Day in Preschool
My favorite part of the day in preschool was outdoor play. I loved being outside, running around, playing with my friends, and having the freedom to explore and use my imagination. Outdoor play always felt like an adventure, whether we were playing games, exploring our surroundings, or simply enjoying time together. I think those memories are part of why I love seeing children get excited to go outside and explore the world around them. There is something so special about watching children learn, play, and make memories through their own little adventures.
